Why on earth was the default set to leave that config item on? I often work in FF using just the one tab rather than adding new ones every time. Now that I have changed the default I can do that very easily. When the default was on every time I tried to clear the tab contents I found myself back at the desk top. Oh well, thanks for all the answers, it has been useful. Neil -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
