Re-enable extensions one by one to see what's happening.
I bet you'll tell next that you don't have any extensions enabled ;)
You ought to install Ad-Block (and possibly Ghostery) as a minimum in
my opinion

I have ad-block, flash-block and ghostery all running so its not them.
It seems to be javascript but firebig profiling doesnt pick it up....
