If you are interested in a
slightly different IT event these can be very good. Most are in
Plymouth.

BCS
South-West Events DearÂBranch
Members, Our
next event of 2014 is presented by Duncan Eadie who will
discuss how one of the world's largest corporations and
globally recognised brands started with a good idea in the
humble surroundings of a Californian garage. This multimedia
lecture will chart the true story and incarnation of the
American Dream as a failed businessman, an unwashed college
dropout and a shy engineer took on the world - and won! Booking: BCS
South West events are open toÂeveryone, eligible for CPD and
(unless otherwise indicated) free of charge. The
pre-booking system is only used to allow rooms and catering
to be arranged. Please note that most presentations will now
be video-recorded and we aim to make videos available via
our
YouTube
channelshortly
after each event. Regards, Paul
DowlandÂ(on behalf ofÂthe BCS SouthWest Committee) Full
details of the forthcoming branch events and maps are
available from the BCS South West Branch website (http://www.bcs-southwest.org.uk/).
