Once again, I am disappointed. From the 'article': "they have been patching and perhaps changing it, without great improvements in safety and stability." For the last time people, you don't have to like Microsoft, you don't have to like Windows, you don't have to like Bill Gates or any of the developers. But this kind of shit makes you look like petulant, reality-impaired little children. That blog (the 'reporter' calls herself, wait for it, "Linux Girl" and there are even amateurish cartoons of the most pathetic superhero ever. I mean, really?) Just stop spouting the same tedious crap: aren't we supposed to be better than this? Fact: Windows has been a completely functional OS since NT4 - Windows 7, Windows 8 and Server 2003/2008R2/2012 all stand out as perfectly coherent and usable systems. In case you haven't noticed, they run the vast majority of the worlds computers and by extension, actually power most of the operations necessary for our 21st century lifestyle. I'm all over proper, in-depth technical comparisons of the strengths and weaknesses of all the operating systems I use, but simple lies such as the above quote are just embarrassing. It's actually a clean-cut case of FUD, by a linux shill. So stop repeating it. Just to be really clear: it's fine to hate Microsoft, it's fine to prefer Linux. But bearing in mind that most of you haven't even touched a windows computer for a decade or longer, please stop even talking about it if you're simply not qualified to have an opinion. Also, particularly Server 2012 is an *excellent* operating system. I can tell you this because I actually admin and use this stuff all day, every day, and I'm not just some ignorant FUD-spewing retard on some dumb-ass partisan blog. Now, just out of pure spite, I'm rebooting this workstation back into Win8 where I will carry on my current workflow of VM administration, SSH'ing, image deployment and compilation with no problems whatsoever. Despite what some of you people seem to think, all of this is perfectly possible you know. Maybe you should actually try it sometime instead of blindly parroting the freetard propaganda bullshit... Regards
