This is also something to keep in mind when you stop a process from
running, or start a new process. At some point, the server will be
rebooted and your process may start again (or not start), because it
was (or wasn't) set to start on boot. This may not be what you want.
I spent about two hours doing all sorts of debugging on a recently
restarted server that behaved in a very odd way, only to find out SuSE
firewall had started again on boot and messed things up.
