Every time it happens, there are several complaints on the Claws Mail
mailing list. CM has an option to allow for the silent acceptance of
such certs, but is off by default because of the inherently unsafe
nature of allowing it.
Google's behaviour regarding mail is broken in so many ways that it's
always a good idea to remember that gmail!=email.
I gave up on yahoo ages ago, I'm in the process of ditching google as
well.
