If you still have a mail server at Server 1, and you want user's mail sent to Server 2... Easy, and nothing to do with ip addresses. Assuming your user's name is freddy, and you want his email sent to freddy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx On server 1 where mail normally arrives, edit /etc/aliases freddy: freddy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Been using this a lot recently when migrating users to another server. Of course they need to use their new address as a reply-to, but this ensures no mail gets lost. And you don't need to run any additional program to fetch or push, but when you do use this to migrate somebody, imapsync is the bunny.
