For the former, I would make sure you have the relevant OBEX stuff installed and then try firing up your favourite file manager (or rather Nautilus / whatever KDE uses these days) and try accessing obex://ma:ca:dd:re:ss For the latter, are you trying to get your phone to dial-out to provide an Internet connection? Are you trying to 'tether' using Bluetooth? Grant.
I wanted it to just get the photos off the phone.When I first plugged the phone in and connected it came up as a directory list and then errored and google search came up with the NAS thing. Bluetooth no longer starts up on this machine so I think the adapter may be faulty. I can connect on the laptop and send the pictures over but its not the same...
