Noooooooooooooooo.......I could rant on for hours about the hassles involved connecting PCs to trains, however for the sake of my sanity (and everyone elses!) I won't.
It's a shade under-powered for the train application though. The PCs I have on the train are 1.6GHz Atoms with 1GB RAM, 4GB of flash, 2 Ethernets, on-board 3G + GPS devices running Linux, squid, firewalling, dhcp, VPNs and a wodge of other monitoring stuff... Fed off a DC-DC convertor which takes train power (+/- 55V DC) down to their needs (24V)
