There are sellers to be wary of, but I think with common sense they can be avoided :) JulianI don't think that's the point Gordon was getting at. The first batch are supposed to be going out to folks who want to get started on them developing stuff and basically offering something to the community, not folks who just wanted to buy one to sell them on eBay for stupid money. It's probably going to annoy a lot of people out there who were up at 6am to order one.
Not quite ... AIUI, the first batch went out to a selected few independantly of the RS/Farnell sales... The ones on ebay are from the Farnell/RS orders - placed by the folks who did get up early, etc. and were lucky enough to get them - and are now selling them for whatever reason - either just make a "quick buck" or for other "genuine" reasons.
It's a free market after all.Even if it does make those on the waiting list somewaht irritated that we have to grit our teeth, grin and bear it...
Oh well, I'm not too fussed myself, I've pre-ordered one so I'll get it eventually, in the mean time I've got a new project, restoring an Amiga 500 :-)
