You've got me here. I know zilch about how iPods store stuff and frankly, I don't care. I have been told they you can't simply drag & drop files to them becuse they have some whacky internal database, but if you can...
I'm wondering if all these issues might just "go away" when she buys a new generic mp3 player...
How hard can it be...Is someone involved in the process making it deliberately harder than it needs to be? :)
It simply doesn't work from an end-users point of view. At least not with Debaian Stable, but as it's all I've ever really used, then that's what she has. Maybe time to branch out...
