Certainly there are an absolute tonne of resources out there detailing how to turn your Nook into a full Android tablet/mini-tablet. Personally I use Aldiko on my Android phone and tablet. It supports ePub files, and a bunch of other stuff too. Earlier versions did seem to require that you put your ebooks into a specific folder so that Aldiko would actually find them when you did an "import", but I'm not sure if this has been changed in later versions or not.
