(I still need to update this page :-s) http://en.flossmanuals.net/ May also be useful. http://ubuntu-manual.org/ Community developed ubuntu manual project. http://fullcirclemagazine.org/ Community based ubuntu manual. I think this is very good. There is also a great pod cast that accompanies the magazine (pdfs). http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/LNW.htm Good to help explain the differences between windows and linux and "adjust" any newbie expectations. A little dated. http://www.linuxlinks.com/ http://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Main_Page Good for locating that piece of software. There are probably heaps more. That should help for the moment? Post again if he wants more :-) Best wishes roly :-) -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
