The down-side is that not everyone can display them.

E = MCÂ

Ek = ÂmvÂ

and so on. These might not âlook rightâ to some people though.

And I can't work out why, but some people seem to use this symbol: Â when 
they mean the appostrophe: '

Ah well. Come back 7-bit ASCII, all is forgiven! (apart from  and â which 
we sort of need now)
