It's 4 years old with 44K miles on the clock. The rear disks were replaced last service too (@32K miles) I think I've got a Friday afternoon job...I'm thinking that I should learn a bit more about car maintenance. I don't know much at the moment (to give you an idea, I can't even do an oil change). I figure if I do some sort of car maintenance course at college on an evening then I can at least learn the basics, oil changes, brakes and such.
I used to do *everything* on my old cars - including engine removal and stripping and re-building (suitably, "tuned" ;-) However I don't have access to any proper facilities anymore and todays modern cars are just a lump of engineness and electronic control gear. I don't think I could even remove a sparkplug from my current car without having to take the protective cover off with whatever special tool it needs...
Maybe I could then bodge together an in-car PC and demonstrate Linux :-D (see there is a Linux related bit in there).
