I don't know what the libraries buying departments policies are but most of my interests lie in things like the above that will cost me £3.50 to borrow (not a problem) as they are not held locally but perhaps if several of us made a coordinated request that might get them to buy them here - and then its 50p a go and a lot quicker! I have no idea what the above book is like but even at £20 buying it and discovering its a formatted slightly annotated version of the source files can be annoying.
