I always configure my wifi to be open. I think it's nicer for guests
to share my connection without going through any hassle.
This is how it's done at the Apple store too btw. ;)
As most have concluded, this is more of a SSL issue, though one can
employ WPA to help defend the session hijacking from poorly written
Web sites.
