[LUG] Off topic, Netbook Battery Problems

There is an issue with battery charging on Acer One netbooks which fail to carge properly it can mostly be resolved by updating the bios, I had two with this problem and it looks like the bios update as sort it.

That might explain my battery lasting only 6 months.  Since the model of
laptop was about a year old anyway when I got it (it was an ex-demo from
Comet) then I guess the battery was old to start with.
