I think smb is dead, and cif is preferred, but a "mount -a" should try
and mount anything missing in fstab.

ntfs share?

The pseudo file /proc/mounts is probably what you were after, but you'd
probably have to edit a copy before making it /etc/fstab to remove the
ever growing list of things pretending to be file systems.
