Personally I am happier about Virgin slowing a connection once it has run foul of the limits set, rather than stopping it all-together. My connection was reduced to a 512k... which was perfectly usable when I first got broadband, and certainly usable today for getting email, doing some instant messaging and IRC. I only noticed that the connection had slowed down because my ISO download said it'd take a hell of a lot longer than it reported earlier in the day. ;) Grant. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/listfaq
