Hi I recently installed ubuntu 10.04 on a 2nd hard disk and have also installed the password and encryption keys application I have copied the contents of .gnupg over to the new installation -rwxr-xr-x 1 psutton psutton 63 2009-02-06 18:38 gpg.conf -rwxr-xr-x 1 psutton psutton 190032 2010-01-09 20:51 pubring.gpg -rwxr-xr-x 1 psutton psutton 190032 2010-01-09 20:51 pubring.gpg~ -rwxr-xr-x 1 psutton psutton 600 2010-06-14 14:44 random_seed -rwxr-xr-x 1 psutton psutton 1320 2009-01-08 19:17 secring.gpg -rwxr-xr-x 1 psutton psutton 2120 2010-01-09 20:51 trustdb.gpg this directory is located in /home/psutton how do I get to the point where I can right click on something and encrypt / decrypt files and also sign e-mails as at present when i tried i can't sign them. (using thunderbird and enigmail) there is a paul sutton.asc file which contains my public key. Do I need to import something in to password and encryption keys thanks for any pointers. It would help if we can have talks on things like this at lug meets.
