I see it when mint update opens 2x. usually when im overenthusiastic
on the clicking of the mintupdater icon. Basically its the GKSU window
panicking that something may be eavesdropping on the request for
password and letting you know its not going to ask for password. Got a
keylogger running?
Of course, a way around it might be to open a terminal and sudo
mintupdate/synaptic from there.
