I dont see the point of something ' small' that still requires a (brief)case to carry it around - OK in the iPad's case its about visibility not useabilty but if I cant put it in my pocket I may as well have a full sized screen. I would like on of these with a shoulder holster so you can pop it just next to your left armpit - dont use it in airports or anywhere though! On Mon, 14 Jun 2010, tom wrote:http://www.reghardware.com/2010/06/14/chinese_punt_ipad_alike/Intersting. That's about the same size as a Joggler, but obviously "pocketable" (well, almost) Better sized than the iPad IMO.
And Ubuntu is make a tablet release of theirthing too: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/06/13/ubuntu_for_tablets/ Looks like it might even be for both x86 and ARM platforms...Still.. I think I'd rather make phone calls on my N900 than a 7" "tablet" PC :)
Its got a headphone out socket - would that include a mike channel. If so see shoulder holster with flap to allow typing numbers - that way you can look like the office loony talking to yourself in the corner again...
Still like my wifi/phone signals as far away from me as possible tho... Tom te tom te tom -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
