Or indeed cash to pay incidental costs of meetings when they have been incurred. Indeed such meetings have often run a raffle or similar and made a profit for the group. Certainly things like firewalls, Debian mirrors, switches, projectors, laser pointers, books, posters, monitors, laptops, CDs, DVDs, sausages and home made beer have all been willingly provided in the past. I'm pretty sure if you needed it they could rustle up some Radar kit, rockets, and surgical or laboratory equipment or pretty much anything else if you made a good case for wanting it. It is kicking the process off with booking a venue, suggesting some ideas, and telling people about it as early and as often as it takes to get them to attend that doesn't happen often enough. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
