I know and I'm usually the first one to rubbish it too, but I did read something recetly about 53% of mail hosts use it now - it'd need to be 100% to be effective though...
There are easier ways to spot if someone is spoofing your own address to you ;)
Indeed - easy for me - but I have customers who're so thick...
Wietse gives a good method of how to deal with backscatter if it is ever an issue on the Postfix site. That leaves folk trying impersonate you, and the best way to deal with them is encryption.
