Bottom posting is certainly, IMHO, better.My only moan, and I know it's been said before, is when people don't trim the original posts making it necessary to scroll down to see what they've added.
It is definitely a micro$oft thing. I'm more or less forced to use it at work, but I ignore the default cursor position and bottom post anyway.
