hi does anyone have an old 386 or 486 system that they
don?t want?

sounds good, u can get system7 mac os from the apple
website (cant remember the link but they do offer if for download for historical
reasons) u might be able to get that booting and then use a terminal emulator to
connect to a unix box, I doubt linux will run natively on it. I am not even sure
A/UX will boot on that.

I'm going to try to tinker some more with it. Does anyone know if Linux will run on it? (m68k version I assume) If not, any *ux, or bsd? Cos it'd be nice to have something I can connect to - I may try to network the system using its serial port. Cheers Dan
