I go with you on this one. When I read the question I assumed they wanted B but if so they could be wrong because quite obviously if a computer has an important peripheral attached then that peripheral ceases to exist on the network and therefore the rest lose the opportunity to connect to it.

I reckon it is a badly worded question.
