Well my Philips 32" LCD (which has a native resolution of 1366x768) is great for using as a TV for playing high definition video and stuff from my XBOX 360. Standard definition stuff looks fine on it, at least it's watchable, I tend to find that the compression on Freeview doesn't help the picture.
I've also used it as a monitor although I've found that unless I sit close to it, the text size tends to be too small to read.
