Are you trying to do this 'from' the XP system - if so you should be able to write a script and automate ftp'ing it from the XP system to the ftp on the linux system and set that going on XP's cron (runat?). if you do the latter above using most scripting languages you should be able to send yourself e-mails on fail (or success)I want to automate as much as possible.
