I'm home now so I can test it from my laptop again rather than using my phone. If this gets there then yay! It would seem that it doesn't work with smtp.gmail.com but smtp.googlemail.com works - but that may be because I haven't got the smtp.gmail.com cert but I do have the googlemail.com one. Anyho, it would seem that all is now well and I can continue to use ClawsMail. Yay!
