She wants to keep some In looking through the files, there is one other issue that does take a surprising amount of space and that is word files. I suspect that this is because of embedded photos, graphs etc. In looking through my files, some pdfs take up a huge amount of space: largely due to photographs (eg a 10MB pdf, which can comprises about 10 pages of text and 3 photographs). What is most irritating is that the photos rarely add to the text and as a document user, I would prefer to either have a text file or occasionally an html file that is easier to read.
