True, but at least if they chose another motherboard of a similar standard and used 8 port cards the costs would increase by about $150 (not including the extra drives and 1 to 5 cards, but they would be bought anyway so they dont count) and it would quadruple each server's capacity... honestly not sure why they didn't take this route.
