There is no 0800 in the US. There is a 1800, but the 1 is the long-distance access code. So to dial the TellMe (some MS-owned speech recognition information service thing) service, the number in the US is 1-800-555-8355. You would dial 0018005558355 from the UK. You should get a patronising "it's not toll-free outside the US" message before the call connects.
