Where did this come from? Any links? There’s IDN, which allows encoding Unicode characters in domain names (and displaying them as ascii if the characters can’t be displayed). If there’s a unicode symbol of a penguin, then it’s perfectly possible (there’s certainly a unicode snowman). -- Benjamin M.
