My dad's TV has a USB connector. Mine hasn't got either but the Google Pictures Screensaver looks nice on the TV. Shame it uses so much power otherwise I'd leave it on all day. > Anyway bloke from local TV shoppie set it up, etc. then tried to re-set > his old digi-box he had connected to his old analogue TV (so he could > video programs as the TV only has one tuner), but he failed to get all > channels, even after 2 factory resets on the box. My Philips On-Digital box doesn't work now, IIRC it's something to do with the modulation going from 2K to 8K or something along those lines. Won't pick owt up now anyway. My other Freeview box though (an Echostar T-101 I think) picks everything up and that one is about 5 years old. Just lucky that Freeview boxes are so cheap nowadays. Hopefully the current working boxes will at least see us through for a good few more years, although I gather HD broadcasts are to begin in the South West around December this year on Freeview (albeit only about 2 channels in HD and a new box would be required which no doubt would be stupidly expensive to start with).
