Hi folks, For those of you who aren't aware, the release candidate 1 of Windows 7 has been released to Technet and MSDN subscribers today (basically those folks who pay Microsoft a whole wad of cash every year for the privilege to get beta software and other goodies before anyone else). Anyway, according to The Inquirer the servers couldn't handle the load. Microsoft are blaming it on fragmentation in SQL Server or something or other rather than a lack of bandwidth. So the moral of the story is... for those mission critical applications... avoid SQL server!
