Or they might work better under Wine than Windows. Especially those which were written for Windows 3.1/95 or require things like flash version 7 (nothing later). Even at the secondary level it's not unknown to have software which is older than the kids. About the only way to get this sort of stuff to run reliably is in it's own VM. Not that age is always a good guide, there is some new stuff, which really isn't ready to be used in any kind of "production environment". -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFJ95RbsoRLMhsZpFcRAr6FAJ9LBQMkqthyd7gQERXo7QHoxzd/IACdGFGv MdtkB44PH6uuPgacx3Y70FA= =+soQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
