Hi folks, Just spotted this on The Inquirer... http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/649/1050649/mozilla-champions-open-source-web-video It looks like Mozilla is to include native support for Theora video in Firefox 3.1 and it's also passing out around $100,000 in funding via the Wikimedia foundation for the development of Theora and Vorbis. Opera have also said they will support Theora in the latest versions of their browser. Surely this has to be a good thing for end users. Not having to rely on Flash, Quicktime or even worse Windows Media. All they need to do now is get Google & Youtube on board to start providing higher quality videos in Theora format, hopefully then it'll drive the adoption of Firefox and open video & audio formats (and maybe with any luck encourage hardware manufacturers to provide better support for OGG Theora video, Vorbis audio and FLAC audio).
