Some are *very* fussy about what brand disks they will read. Is the problem consistent across different film studios, MGM, Fox, Paramount etc? Wondering if it's the implementation of anti-piracy measures on them causing problems. To try and narrow down the problem, do unprotected region free disks behave the same way? Something like a home movie on DVD?
