Excuse the unthreaded response. My understanding is that Thunderbird does this on Windows only, has this changed? Lots of tools exist for Windows conversion - dbxconv is one such. Certainly it is easier to convert your data to open formats before moving off the system with the proprietary products on. The kmail converter tools (packaged in Debian and all good distros) handles some Outlook express formats, and will do the import from within your preferred operating system. Although as far as I am aware the format is proprietary - so I guess Microsoft may have changed it. Although if you don't do kmail/KDE, it may be as easy to install Thunderbird on Windows and export the data first! -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
