It comes with vista so, will need to reinstall. Hello Viv, Well worth a try. You will be given the choice of auto or manual install which includes laptop packages. I chose the auto-install and apart from selecting to do the partitioning myself, the rest worked like a dream. The YAST package system is very smooth and offers a nice selection of optional repositories containing plenty of goodies. KDE 4 is offered as an alternative installation to KDE 3 and Gnome. I found it to be a very "polished" distro and a refreshing change (ducks!) to using Debian and its variants for the past 3 or 4 years. Yes, It's propriatory, but the nearest I've seen to a real, no hassle MS replacement. -- W.
