[LUG] Wine error as user, not as root, loading Canon Digital Photographer Professional (DPP)

I get

err:winedevice:ServiceMain driver L"PxHelp20" failed to load

What should I do about finding and enabling PxHelp20 to load for (me as)
an ordinary user?

It works as root but that is bad.
