Occasionally, this topic (PP) has cropped on things like Points Of View. There's always some lame explanation. Something along the lines of "We can't be monitoring that sort of thing all the time, it costs too much" or "We have to show items that are realistic. Occasionally this means putting brand names on TV screens". All bull, of course.
