Beauty is that I didn't even realise this was the case for about 3 or 4 months, and when I did find I had no Win2000 anymore (the boot option started loading Darwin instead) I figured that I didn't need it if I hadn't even noticed it missing in that time. I've never looked back since. It's only in the past year that I've had Windows on any of *my* machines again. On my laptop in case I have to do some external consultancy training on MS Office for the College, and on my desktop for use as a games console. (Oh, in case you're wondering - my 'workhorse' was Mandrake 9.1, the others were for playing with, breaking and seeing if I could fix them so I could learn about them.)
