Perhaps a point that should be made since Windows seem to require ever more powerful machines just to boot up, much less do anything useful. Use Linux and lower the whopping electricity bill. They seem to forget that the cost of owning Windows includes the cost of owning (and upgrading) hardware of sufficient performance to run the latest version.
