Any particular reason, or just you couldn't figure it out? All GNU/Linux distros have the root partition mounted from a partition, so that presents as a hard disk, this never stopped me mounting other disks when using recovery media. -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html Oddly enough it's only been pendrivelinux I had a problem with. Slax,DSL and featherlinux were all fine. Slax wouldn't detect a network even when configured manually, pclinux minime was probably the most fully featured. I only tried it out for booting a pc with no hard drive and to show others what linux is like now anyway. Might try an ubuntu install later just because I can't fit a cd in my wallet <g> Ray -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG http://mailman.dclug.org.uk/listinfo/list FAQ: http://www.dcglug.org.uk/linux_adm/list-faq.html
