[LUG] [Fwd: OLPC - Give one Get one]

May be of interest to the lug,  this is forwarded from the vancouver 
lug,  so not sure if it applies in the Uk,  perhaps the lug could pool 
some money and buy one for demo purposes.   It would certainly give the 
project some publicity and demonstrate how Linux is used in the real 
world to help bridge the digital divide.

Hi folks,

For a very small period of time (November 12 - 26), OLPC has 
a program which allows you to donate an XO laptop to the 3rd 
world and get one for yourself too. It's called the Give One
Get One program and the cost is $399. Usually OLPCs are not
available to individuals so this is a rare opportunity.
