While logically accurate it is legally untenable. It ignores Intellectual Property. Any commercial software house licenses you to use their software *for a fee*. Depending on the license, you pay them a fee in order to install and run their software on X number of machines. Using it without paying them the required license fee [1] is.. what exactly?
