The solid state storage sounds a good idea, but it is smaller than my current laptops hard drive, so I expect you'd find that painful, since mine is perpetually fill. Still I'd have thought a flash upgrade shouldn't cost that much these days. No one seems to be saying anything about the resolution of the 7" screen, which was my first question. Really anything less than 1024x768 is a nightmare to use these days, and whilst you can get that on mobile phones these days, it all comes down to how much they paid for the LCD. That said Faye has always wanted a small laptop, that won't develop her physique whilst carrying it around. Bet I can't get one delivered for her Birthday (10/10). I think I preferred the ASUS Linux on motherboard story from /., anything to avoid boot time. Funny I was just telling someone that a GNU/Linux bootable CD is so the thing to solve your PC problems when something goes wrong with the OS on the hard drive (whatever that may be).
